A Partnership Excelling in Early Cancer Detection
To meet the needs of patients across its large service area, Urology of Indiana partnered with Captive Radiology to implement a “Moving Mobile” PET-CT service. The service rotates every other week between the Fishers and Greenwood office locations, allowing the practice to capture referrals efficiently without requiring patients to traverse the metro Indianapolis area. This model not only improves access but also plays a crucial role in early cancer detection, enabling timely diagnosis and intervention, which can significantly improve patient outcomes.
Captive Radiology initially deployed a Siemens TP 16. After just 18 months, Captive and Urology of Indiana determined an upgrade was needed to meet the demand of the practice and the market. In September of 2025, Captive introduced a Siemens mCT 40 scanner to the market, providing the latest imaging technology for patient care. The new scanner provides cutting-edge imaging technology, enhancing the ability to detect cancer at its earliest stages, monitor disease progression, and guide personalized treatment plans, critical factors in achieving better long-term results for patients throughout the region.
