A Partnership Excelling in Early Cancer Detection
Urology Austin’s physicians and advanced practice providers are committed to improving patient outcomes through personalized care and advanced imaging. To support this mission, Urology Austin partnered with Captive Radiology to launch a fully managed PET-CT program that integrates seamlessly into the practice’s multi-modality imaging center, which also includes PAE, CT, and ultrasound services.
Captive Radiology PET-CT Solutions
Captive Radiology provides a fully managed PET-CT program for Urology Austin, including:
- Operating stationary mobile Siemens PET-CT scanners tailored to practice workflows
- Providing two full-time technologists to deliver seamless patient experiences
- Performing PSMA PET-CT scans with Telix’s Illucix tracer
- Supporting long-term success with project management, licensing, and regulatory compliance
Captive operated the service with a stationary mobile unit for seven months before transitioning the program into the imaging center with an upgraded Siemens mCT 40 scanner. This reflects our commitment to finding the right fit and tailoring each solution to the needs of the practice.
Captive also played a key role in the design and implementation of the imaging center, integrating the PET-CT program into the practice as a seamless extension of the team.
