The Challenge: Launch Advanced Imaging Without Slowing Down the Practice
UPNT wanted to establish an in-house PET-CT program quickly while maintaining the premium level of patient care its team already provided.
Launching a PET-CT program requires much more than purchasing and installing equipment. Permitting, regulatory approvals, construction, equipment delivery, inspections, staffing, and operational planning all have to come together before the first patient can be scanned.
UPNT needed an experienced partner that could serve as an “easy button” for the process: a trusted team capable of managing the complexity of implementation while allowing UPNT to remain focused on its patients and day-to-day practice.

Our team also helped secure superior contracts and manage the rollout, reducing the financial and operational burden on the practice while keeping UPNT in control of patient care.
From Signed Contract to Go-Live in Less Than 8 Months
On October 15, 2025, UPNT signed its contract with Captive Radiology. Less than eight months later, the PET-CT program was operational and ready to serve patients.
October 15, 2025 — Contract Signed
The partnership officially began.
December 18, 2025 — Permits Received
Required permits were secured to move the project forward.
February 9, 2026 — Construction Started
Construction began to prepare the imaging space.
March 17, 2026 — RAML Approved
A key regulatory milestone was completed.
April 28, 2026 — PET-CT Delivered
The imaging equipment arrived on site.
May 27, 2026 — Final Inspection
The completed facility passed its final inspection.
June 9, 2026 — Go Live
UPNT’s PET-CT program became operational.
