Diagnostic Imaging Needs: Innovative PET-CT Solutions
First Urology’s physicians and advanced practice providers are devoted to improving patient outcomes through personalized care and cutting-edge imaging. To advance this mission, First Urology partnered with Captive Radiology to launch a PET-CT program, including the addition of an in-office gallium generator, allowing for on-site preparation of isotopes used in scanning.
Captive Radiology PET-CT Solutions
Captive Radiology provides a fully managed PET-CT program for First Urology, including:
- Operating a Siemens Horizon PET CT
- Providing 2 full-time technologists to deliver seamless patient experiences
- Performing PSMA PET-CT exams
The partnership also introduces an in-office gallium generator, allowing on-site preparation of the isotope used for scanning. Captive staff coordinate and operate the generator in collaboration with Five Eleven Consulting, who provided expert guidance on the development and implementation of the in-office generator program. This marks Captive’s first partnership to utilize an in-office generator and provides more seamless operations and full control over all aspects of the service.
